We are pleased to announce that the City of Selkirk Park Campground will open on Wednesday June 8 at 12:00pm noon.
Due to construction on Eveline the main gates to Selkirk Park are closed, so campers must access the campground via the north park entrance.
From Main Street please head to Taylor Avenue and the north entrance is located across from Springs Church (next to Stewart House). Blue detour signage on Main Street will guide you to Taylor Avenue and the map below illustrates the detour.
The boat launch is still closed at this time due to high water levels. Please take precaution when near the river as the current is fast and dangerous.
Please remember to check-in at the campground office when you arrive to the park to get your camping permit.
Thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy your time in Selkirk!
Selkirk Park Campground is located next to the Marine Museum on 490 Eveline Street (corner of Queen Ave/Eveline St) at the north end of Selkirk on the banks of the Red River. The Campground has 165 camping sites, 135 with power and access to water is shared for all sites.
A number of amenities are just steps away from the Campground including our boat launch with access to the Red River, the Selkirk Park Pool and Splash Pad, Skate Park, Dog Park, Agricultural Society Grounds, the Marine Museum of Canada and a number of trails for those seeking the benefits of nature.
