Two people rollerblading on the active transportation payway

In 2020, the City of Selkirk began a process to develop a five-year Active Transportation Strategy. The strategy is necessary to provide the long-term vision of the future of Selkirk’s Active Transportation (AT) Network.

This document has been created to define and clarify a broad vision and framework based on existing policies, current best practices and looking into the future of AT. This strategy has been developed to assist in the design and management of the City’s AT network that will help in achieving low carbon economy goals and create safe and vibrant neighborhoods that meet the current and future needs of the citizens of Selkirk.
