What is Fair Trade?
Fair Trade is an alternative approach to conventional trade and is based on a transparent and respectful partnership between producers and consumers. Fair trade contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers – particularly in the global south. Fair trade products can include things made with Fair Trade bananas, chocolate, wine, beer, honey, coffee, quinoa, sugar, tea, gold, rice, cotton, nuts, vegetables and more.

About the Contest
- Contest runs May 11-31, 2024
- Visit a participating business (see list below) and purchase one of their Fair Trade products.
- Upon purchase, the business will provide you with a slip that contains a QR code to scan and take you to the entry form. Alternatively, the business may have a display with a poster that contains the QR code for you to scan and enter.
- Scan the provided QR code and enter your details on the form and be entered to win!
- One winner will be selected to win a Prize Pack, containing Fair Trade products and a $50 Biz Bucks Gift Card. The winner will be contacted by email.
