Camp Awesome 2017 Spring Break Day Camp

The City of Selkirk Spring Break Day Camp, established in 2000, is for children ages 6-12 and is based out of the Selkirk Recreation Complex Banquet Hall. Our main goal is to provide a safe, fun environment for all children who attend. We offer a great a welcoming atmosphere where camp participants will have the opportunity to bond with new friends, participate in adventurous and educational activities and be silly and have fun.

Selkirk Recreation Complex Banquet Hall (please use Banquet Hall entrance)
Cost:
$150.00 for the week or $35.00 per day (priority given to full week participants). Additional fees apply for early drop off/late pick up.
Camp Hours:
Spring Break Day Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Drop off time is from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Pick up time is between 3:45 PM and 4:00 PM. Early drop off time is available starting from 8:00 AM. Late pick up is also available until 5:00 PM.
Drop off / Pick Up:
If someone other than yourself will be dropping off or picking up your child(ren) please fill out an Alternate Drop off / Pick up Form (available from Day Camp Supervisor). Drop off location is inside the Banquet Hall at Selkirk Recreation Complex.
Camp Attire:
Activities will take place both indoors and outdoors. Children should bring weather appropriate clothing. Indoor/outdoor shoes would be beneficial. On ice activities require skates, a CSA approved helmet and appropriate clothing.
Daily schedule:
Schedule will consist of various activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, theme days, field trips, and ice skating. On-ice activities will be optional.
Lunches and Snacks:
All campers need to bring their own lunch and two snacks for each day. Hydration is important; please make sure your child has a water bottle. Water fountains are available on site. Due to common allergies please ensure your child’s lunch is peanut free.
