The Selkirk Parks Endowment Fund was established in 2015 to create a long-term and sustainable source of funding for the city’s parks, park amenities and programs. Modeled after similar endowments for successful parks, like Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg and Central Park in New York, the Selkirk Parks Endowment Fund will help ensure that Selkirk’s parks continue to offer the natural spaces, trails, equipment and other amenities that our citizens and visitors have come to expect.

Your Donations Are Permanent Gifts and Leave a Legacy

Donations made to the fund are permanently held and invested. The income generated from these investments is used to help fund the maintenance and enhancement of Selkirk’s park sites, services and programming. By donating to the Selkirk Parks Endowment Fund, you are helping preserve, protect and enhance our local parks and our natural spaces today, tomorrow and forever.
