The City of Selkirk is proud to announce the launch of its new All-Season Training Zone, located at the Selkirk Recreation Complex. Designed to support athletes year-round, this versatile space features and a hockey/Ringette shooting gallery a batting cage, making it ideal for both team practices and individual training sessions.
Whether you’re a pitcher perfecting your strike zone or a hockey or ringette player working on your shot accuracy, the Training Zone offers a dynamic environment to elevate your game.
How to Access the Training Zone at the Selkirk Rec Complex
- Visit a Rink Attendant
Stop by the front desk and speak with a Rink Attendant. - Complete the Access Form
Fill out a short form to receive the code for the gate lock. - Unlock the Cage
Use the code to unlock the gate and begin your training session. - Respect the 45-Minute Courtesy Rule
If someone else is waiting to use the Training Zone, please limit your session to 45 minutes.
If no one is waiting, feel free to continue using the shooting gallery or batting cage. - Secure the Area After Use
After your session, lock the gate and ensure the lock box is secured.
