Canada Day at the Selkirk Waterfront

Celebrate Canada Day on the banks of the Red River with an unforgettable day of music, family activities, food, fireworks, and community spirit. The free outdoor event runs from 4:00 pm to midnight and has something for all ages just bring a lawn chair and enjoy summer at the Selkirk Waterfront.
Live performances throughout the evening will showcase a range of musical styles from upbeat folk and bluegrass to Celtic and classic rock sounds. Whether you’re relaxing by the water or dancing near the stage, the diverse lineup keeps the atmosphere lively all night long. The night ends with Selkirk’s spectacular fireworks display at 11:00 pm, the best in the Interlake.
From 4:00 to 8:00 pm, families can enjoy a wide range of kid-friendly fun. Glitter Bug will be on site offering glitter tattoos, while Kurrent Motion gets everyone moving with their Hula Hoop Jam. Mr. Circus brings the magic with his Bubble Barn, a circus show, and roaming juggling performances throughout the event. The City’s Block Party Trailer will also be set up with games and outdoor play equipment.
Running from 4:00 to 10:00 pm, the Bud & Bloom Makers Market features a curated collection of 100% handmade goods from local artisans. Browse unique items like honey, soaps, jewelry, and sweet treats while enjoying the sights and sounds of Canada Day at the Waterfront.
