On Saturday September 24, 2022 from 10 am – 4 pm is Selkirk Comes Alive! This event is our way of creating an interactive tour of Selkirk with featured historical figures that have had a lasting impact on the evolution of Selkirk. Actors will play real life residents and share how that individual helped shaped the community.
This years featured historical figures and places are Robert Smith, Chuck Norquay, The Grabowski Family, The Barn, and The Selkirk Fire Department.
During Selkirk Comes Alive, you’ll have 5 hours to meet with the characters and hear stories of Selkirk’s past at 5 different locations. (Noon – 1 pm is lunch break). Spend an hour at each stop, and make sure to give yourself enough time to travel to the next destination. The characters will begin their stories on the hour. Please follow the map guidelines in your passport to know which location to travel to next.
This event is free – passport tickets are available at The Civic Office, Gaynor Family Regional Library, The Mighty Kiwi and Packers Fashions.
