KidFish Ice Fishing Derby – Selkirk Park – February 15th, 2026
KidFish is a popular, family-friendly ice fishing derby held annually in Selkirk, Manitoba, raising funds for children’s health charities like the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, and CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. It’s a volunteer-run event with a fun atmosphere, big prizes, and a mission to support children’s health in the province. To date, KidFish has raised over $485,000!
The KidFish Ice Fishing Derby is not just for kids! It is an all-ages event!
- Registration opens: 8:00 AM
- Fishing runs: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Awards and prize draws: 2:15 PM
What can you expect: Fun, Fishing, Prizes, Mascots, Warm Lunch (donations appreciated), Games
Tickets are $40 for adults and $30 for children
Come join us for a day of family fun on the Red!!
