Celebrating Selkirk Through Art
Feeling that hometown pride? Visit the Selkirk-inspired art show at the Gwen Fox Art Gallery (250 Manitoba Avenue), a special exhibit running June 3 to 28 in honour of Selkirk Day on June 15. This limited-time show is a creative tribute to the people, places, and spirit of Selkirk. From the iconic Water Tower and the Blue Bridge to local favourites like Chuck the Channel Cat, artists have captured the essence of the city in paint, sculpture, photography, and more.
Every piece in the exhibit reflects a different facet of what makes Selkirk home. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to the community, this is a great way to celebrate what makes our city special.
The gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Stop by, take it all in, and see Selkirk through the eyes of local artists.
