City of Selkirk Public Notice Regarding Canada Day Schedule Changes and Closures

Please be advised that City of Selkirk Municipal Buildings will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, for Canada Day.

The Civic Office will reopen to the public on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 10am.

The Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday but regular garbage pickup will not be affected.

Selkirk Transit will be running a free shuttle down to the Waterfront for the City of Selkirk’s Canada Day event with service every 30 minutes beginning at 5pm and continuing until after fireworks end. Buses will be parked on Superior once the fireworks begin.

As always, most city services are provided online.
