Please be advised that the Utilities division will be flushing and inspecting hydrants throughout the city starting in the South working North.
the work is anticipated to take approximately one month.
Throughout this process, it’s possible that Citizens may notice a temporary discolouration to their water. The rust-like colour is caused by iron and other mineral deposits being stirred up and does not pose a health risk.
Water will remain safe to use and consume.
