Selkirk Concert Series: Music on Manitoba

The Selkirk Concert Series, proudly sponsored by South Beach Casino and Resort, invites you to Music on Manitoba, a fun-filled afternoon and evening of entertainment on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
From 4:00 to 7:00 pm, families can enjoy a great variety of kids’ activities, featuring entertaining performances by Mr. Circus, Sleepy the Clown, and more that are sure to delight children of all ages. Starting at 4:00 pm, explore the Night Market in partnership with Bud and Bloom, where you can browse an array of handmade treasures and celebrate the creativity of local artisans.
The live music kicks off at 7:00 pm with Jive Town, a Canadian band known for delivering the best hits from the 60s to today, with tight harmonies, expert musicianship, and a mix of covers and original tunes. At 8:30 pm, get ready for Winnipeg’s hottest party band, Dr. Rocktopus, who will light up the stage with high-energy covers, electrifying mashups, and a rock twist on dance beats packed with nostalgia and surprises.
As always, concerts go on rain or shine If needed, they will simply relocate, with announcements made on myselkirk.ca and across the City of Selkirk social media. Join us on Manitoba Avenue for an unforgettable celebration of music, creativity, and community fun!
