The City of Selkirk is putting on a special Holiday Quiz Night on Friday, December 11 at 7 p.m. as part of Holiday Alley’s 12ish Days of Christmas.

We’ve learned from our mistakes and this Quiz Night will be better and faster than ever before. Get your family and friends together in-person or on a Zoom meeting and learn some random trivia about our city you never knew you needed!

Here’s how to register and sign up:

  1. Sign up below to register your team ahead of time.
  2. On December 11, we’ll send you a link to the quiz form about 4 hours before it starts. That’s where you’ll submit your answers. Have the quiz form open around 6:45 p.m. so you know it’s working.
  3. Tune into our Virtual Quiz Night live stream on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/cityofselkirk or on our YouTube channel. That’s where you’ll get the questions from.
  4. It’s best that you have 2 devices at the ready. One for the quiz form and one for the Live Stream.
    UPDATED – Our quiz software recently released an update that allows us to stream the Quiz from the answer form. If you want to participate and answer questions, you will only need one device. If you just want to follow along on Facebook or YouTube, you still have that option available!

There will be 5 questions in 5 different categories, and you’ll have 45 seconds to answer each question. Live scores will be updated every round, and we’ll have prizes to give away throughout the night.

PLEASE DO NOT GOOGLE THE ANSWERS. THIS IS ALL FOR FUN AND THERE ARE NO PRIZES FOR WINNING. THE ONLY PERSON YOU’LL BE CHEATING IS YOURSELF.
