This quiet park is located on the at west end of Moody Ave and/or Selkirk Ave. Penwarden Park features a play structure, swing set, and plenty of green space to play catch, have a picnic or just get outside and enjoy the sun.
William (Bill) H. Penwarden is the namesake of the park. Mr. Penwarden was known in the community for his promotion of youth sports and recreation opportunities. He died January 12, 1968, shortly after Councillor Taylor suggested the park be named in his honour.
