The Selkirk Recreation Complex is a hub of activity in the community and is home to a variety of sport and recreation activities including: hockey, ringette, figure skating, speed skating, fitness classes, and special events.

Ice Rentals

Facility is wheelchair accessible.

Ice Rental Rates

Ice rental rates are based on Prime time and non- Prime Time, as well as youth and adult.

Prime time Youth $175 +tax

Prime time Adult $244 +tax

Non-Prime $164 +tax

Prime time:

Monday – Friday 6pm -10pm

Saturday all day

Sunday 1pm-10pm

Non-Prime Time:

Monday-Friday 8am-6pm & 10pm-11pm

Sunday 8am-1pm

Banquet Hall Bookings

The banquet hall is located on the lower level of the Recreation Complex. The banquet hall has a capacity and licensed for up to 500 persons. The hall is a popular site for events such as socials, weddings, craft sales, youth programs and meetings of any size. Tables and chairs are available to accommodate different types of bookings upon request. Our venue features a spacious reception hall with a large dance floor, large built-in bar, and a full kitchen.

Additional items available for rent: Projector, projector screen, podium, platform stage, and cordless microphone.

Pre-Marital Social Booking Information

Cost: The total cost to book a social at the Recreation Complex is $4,488.70.

What’s included:

  • Hall rental for the duration of the social 8pm-1am
  • Non-refundable booking deposit $189.00
  • Access for decorating at 12:00pm the day of event
  • 4 Bartenders
  • 5 security Guards
  • 500 wristbands
  • 60 bottles if pop (Coke, diet Coke, Sprite. Ginger ale, club soda, tonic water)
  • Set up and clean up of tables and chairs
  • Ice
  • Refundable Damage deposit $600.00
  • Applicable music license fees and taxes.

On May 13th, 2019 the switch was flipped on Manitoba’s largest solar array. Below you can see the output of the Solar Array, including daily, weekly and monthly electrical output.
