On Friday December 11, 2015, Selkirk Steeler Players Brayden Lozinski (#7) and Victor Knaub (#26) met Constable Paul Human from the Selkirk RCMP at the Selkirk Comprehensive High School.
This month the RCMP and MJHL are working together at educating drivers about distracted driving.
While Brayden and Victor signed autographs for students, Cst. Human handed out distracted driving bookmarks, RCMP tattoos and Operation Red nose coasters.
“If we can prevent one collision due to distracted driving, we’ve scored the goal.” said Human.
“Having the Steelers here adds more star power to the message and it just so happens these guys are fantastic too!”.
